WATTLE PARK

Originally established in 1917 by the Hawthron Tram Trust as a pleasure space and planted with thousands of Acacias, the area was also used as a Tram terminus.

Today, the space is a bushland setting with over 1000 existing trees on the tree management plan which required a dedicated and comitted team of industry professionals to deliver the 3.8kms of trails, sprawling playground and public facilities.

Our long list of Parks Victoria deliveries within remote National Parks or areas of cultural, heritage and horticultural significance made Warrandale the contracting preference for Wattle Park in Melbourne's East. The Km's of walking trails, multiple picnic and seating zones, together with a engineered and constructed Tram playground by Warrandale that pays homage to the previous onsite heritage Trams. The $3.2m project was completed with ease and on time for our Parks Victoria client.
